The Journey of Community Warehouse

Our journey began in 2005 when George Bogdanovich and a group of dedicated individuals opened our flagship location at 521 S. 9th Street in Milwaukee. The original mission was to provide employment and quality home improvement materials at affordable prices and offer a path toward life transformation for the underprivileged.

In 2021, we expanded by opening an additional retail location at 4119 W Green Tree Road. This location also serves as our main processing and distribution center, allowing us to serve our customers more efficiently. Our stores offer a range of discounted home improvement materials, furniture, and building supplies donated by generous individuals and companies in the community. We sell these products at a fraction of the retail price, making them affordable for people of all income levels. Sales of these products help fund our initiatives, including Partners In Hope.

Our Mission

“Transforming the lives of people impacted by incarceration through the love of Christ.”

Community Warehouse is a faith-based organization dedicated to transforming the lives of willing men,  women, and their families impacted by incarceration by helping them overcome social, economic, and criminal justice system barriers. We empower people by offering reentry services, job training and employment support.
